4x100, 15x7J, ET40. Brand new, fresh from oven, has never installed. Pictures tell everything.

Asking for $500.

Sorry to clog the thread up, but can I ask what it came from? It's a very good looking wheel but 4x100 means it's def not on mk4's...

Came from dealer NOS, I suppose it was a Mk3 option wheel , I was going to put it in my Mk1 but now plan is changed.

So are you saying it would fit on a Mk 3 VR6? Are they a heavy rim or fairly light?

The PCD is 4x100, and VR6's are 5x100 so unfortunately not. It's unfortunate because I reckon they'd look great on a VR6...and I'm not sure if this is correct but being a VW wheel I assume they would be ever so slightly on the heavy side because motorsport wasn't what these rims were being used for.

Sorry OP, is this actually ONE or FOUR wheels? It's a bit unclear :S

Didn't you see the picture of 4 wheels ? I said picture tells everything and I'm not that silly to sell one wheel for $500 :)

The first year of Mk4 1.6s had a 4x100 stud pattern which may be where these wheels came from.

Or a Mk3.5 Cabrio.

Either way, good looking wheels.

They would look good on a Mk1, 2 or 3 good luck with the sale.

I was working at a dealer at the time and no mk4 Golf had 4 stud wheels . The Golf 3.5 Cabriolet ran 14 inch wheels . These wheels were an option on the 2001 polo

One more bump, then I'll decide if I put it in my Mk1 or not.

I spoke to VW and they do not know of any mk4 with 4 stud wheels in Australia that came from the factory like that . I guess it might be like the VR6 in 3 door mk3's that are about , or the mk3 with no airbags . Someone did a conversion on it at some point

But 15" rims were an option. I remember reading it in the owners manual for mine..

Yes they were optional , you'll find there are optional wheels usually 1 inch larger than what comes on the car from factory
