I haven't seen any rust
Mk3s are TOP cars and good value
I'd like to see more mk3 owners on this forum.
VR6s are sooooooo sweet.

seat cordobas of the same vintage have a bit along the seam in the rear door aperture. Cheap spanish steel perhaps.

i got a bit of rust in the rear seam as stated and in my floopan underneath the rear seats. reason for it was clogged sunroof drainage was streaming water into the boot carpets and then collecting under the seat. all sorted now tho. luckily i got it at the surface rust stage.

UK ones tend to go around the rear wiper motor and above the handle, where the paint gets damaged during opening and closing. A good secondhand tailgate is hard to come by.

Of course our pants weather doen't help.... :(
