Hi All,
I'm the proud owner of modified mk1 3dr golf. I've had the car for almost seven years and it runs as good as the day I bought it. It’s been upgraded to look like a mk1 gti campaign and under the bonnet its hiding a 16v mk2 GTI engine and gearbox with sport suspension ... runs like a dream.

I never knew this forum existed. How cool is this site? Any part or question you may have, there is always someone to help. I would like to upgrade the interior of the car and would love to hear about any mod that may suit that car.

Love to hear from any other SA mk1 owners. :)

Yeah. The engine is just a dream. I wish I could take credit for the work :). I bought if already built. It has a K&N high flow air filter and sport exhaust. I was told it puts out 160hp.
