A town councillor in Wales, Mark Easton, had a beautiful view of the mountains, until a new neighbour purchased the land below his house and built a new home.

The new home was 18 inches higher than the planning dept had approved, so Mark Easton, mad about his lost view, went to the local authority to make sure they enforced the roof line height.

The new neighbour had to drop the roof height, at great expense. The neighbour then continued building his new house.

Recently, Mark Easton called the planning dept, and informed them that his new neighbour had installed some vents on the side of his new property.

Mark didn't like the look of these vents and asked the planning dept to investigate.

When they went to Mark's home to see what the vents looked like, this is what they found.

The Local Authority said the vents can stay since there is no planning law referring to shutter design.

If I was the new neighbour I would also plant a line of dense, very fast growing, tall trees along that fence line. After a few years all he would see would be my trees(don't get mad, get even !).

One of my mates had a neighbour like that, forced him to build a completely different house to what my mate had originally intended, in the end he decided he didn't want to live there and so sold the new house without even moving in.

I'm afraid to say, Gareth ... you're suffering from (SMGB) "Selective Mammary Gland Blindness" where mammary glands over a certain size swamp the ocular nerve input and nothing else can be seen ... this condition is especially dangerous in summer near beaches or in nighclubs.

Under no condition should you drive heavy machinery while suffering this blindness.

Condition nearly always temporary ... and disappears when the glands in question are removed from sight. A common condition that occurs in 90% of the male human population over the age of 10 or 11.

Condition nearly always temporary ... and disappears when the glands in question are removed from sight. A common condition that occurs in 90% of the male human population over the age of 10 or 11.

There were two nuns. One of them was known as Sister Mathematical (SM), the other one was known as Sister Logical (SL).

It is getting dark and they are still far away from the convent.

SM: Have you noticed that a man has been following us for the past thirty-eight and a half minutes? I wonder what he wants.

SL: It's logical. He wants to rape us.

SM: Oh, no! At this rate he will reach us in 15 minutes at the most! What can we do?

SL: The only logical thing to do of course is to walk faster.

SM: It's not working.

SL: Of course it's not working. The man did the only logical thing. He started to walk faster, too.

SM: So, what shall we do? At this rate he will reach us in one minute.

SL: The only logical thing we can do is split. You go that way and I'll go this way. He cannot follow us both. So the man decided to follow Sister Logical.

Sister Mathematical arrives at the convent and is worried about what has happened to Sister Logical. Then Sister Logical arrives.

SM: Sister Logical ! Thank goodness you are here! Tell me what happened!

SL : The only logical thing happened. The man couldn't follow us both,so he followed me

SM: Yes, yes! But what happened then?

SL: The only logical thing happened. I started to run as fast as I could and he started to run as fast as he could.

SM: And?

SL: The only logical thing happened. He reached me

SM: Oh, dear! What did you do?

SL: The only logical thing to do. I lifted my dress up.

SM: Oh, Sister! What did the man do?

SL: The only logical thing to do. He pulled down his pants.

SM: Oh, no! What happened then?

SL: Isn't it logical, Sister? A nun with her dress UP can run faster than man with his pants DOWN.

And another one I always remember and laugh at.....

Is Hell Exothermic or Endothermic?

As you study for exams, remember its not the quantity it's the quantity. And remember there is no substitute for pure unadulterated bull

Dr. Schambaugh, of the University of Oklahoma School of Chemical Engineering, Final Exam question for May of 1997. Dr. Schambaugh is known for asking questions such as, "why do airplanes fly?" on his final exams. His one and only final exam question in May 1997 for his Momentum, Heat and Mass Transfer II class was: "Is hell exothermic or endothermic? Support your answer with proof."

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following:

"First, We postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass. If they do, then a mole of souls can also have a mass. So, at what rate are souls moving into hell and at what rate are souls leaving? I think we can safely assume that once a soul gets to hell, it will not leave.

Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for souls entering hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, then you will go to hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and souls go to hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in hell to increase exponentially.

Now, we look at the rate of change in volume in hell. Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant. Two options exist:

1. If hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose.
2. If hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over.

So which is it? If we accept the quote given to me by Theresa Manyan during Freshman year, "that it will be a cold night in hell before I sleep with you" and take into account the fact that I still have NOT succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then Option 2 cannot be true...Thus, hell is exothermic."

The student, Tim Graham, got the only A.

Hunter S Thompson the father of Gozo journalism and is the person who documented the death of the American dream and is the person the films Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (his own book) and where the Buffalo roam are based upon.

He also wrote, Fear and loathing on the campaign trail 1972, Hells Angels, Kingdom of Fear, the rum diary and the great shark hunt and many other features for rolling stone and other magazines and is probably the most "entertaining" author I've ever encountered...

oh yea, sure they wouldnt have much. but they didn't have turbo special edition models that had a bit of juice.

i think RWD was more for the handling characteristics rather than becuase it had lots of power.

edit:

top gear delievers: i believe this clip is appropriate.

MX5's are extremely well balanced and stick like **** to a blanket. It would scare some of you to jump in the passenger seat of one with a good driver behind the wheel throwing it into some real corners.... :)

Second that, my wifes boss had one of the original series clubman that was turbo. She liked it and I used to pay her out about it. Anyway being the nice husband I hired a stock standard manual NB series for a weekend as an anniversary present. By the first hour I was in love with the car.....it doesn't have much power on paper but it is lightweight and is like driving a really well setup gokart. After that we were hanging for one of the SE final series NBs, but decided that with family coming soon we should go something practical. If I didn't have to carry large things everynow and again, I'd have got one of the new NCs for work by now.

Most underrated car ever....that's not even mentioning that the top goes down! I noticed that VW have taken up the challenge of stealing some business with a new MX-5 copy...

On a bitterly cold Canberra morning, Kevvy is being chauffeured to Parliament House. It is so cold that Lake Burley Griffin is frozen over!

As he jumps out of the limo, Kevvy looks over the lake and notices that someone has peed on the ice and left the message: "KEVVY SUCKS"

Kevvy is enraged and orders ASIO to investigate with a "no expense spared" report within two weeks.

Two weeks pass and the head of ASIO reports to the PM. "Our investigation has provided three important pieces of news for you: good, bad and terribly bad shocking."

"Give me the good news," Kevvy says.

"ASIO's $5 million investigation as been successful!"

"What's the bad news?

"The DNA testing shows that the urine is... Wayne Swan's!!"

Kevvy is shocked beyond belief.

Looking pale and shocked, Kevvy says "and what is the terribly bad shocking news?"

The ASIO chief replies..."The hand writing is Julia Gillard’s..."
