Hi there.
Why don't we setup a post to list out DIY resources for Mk1/Mk2, perferably with step by step pictures. The main vwvortex Mk1/Mk2 forum is good but there are too many chat.

I start with some :-

http://www.vintagewatercooleds.com/tech/
http://www.4130-products.com/step/
http://www.thepaty.plus.com/8v/index.htm

OK. We can do that. But it would be nice to keep it in-house. That was the original intention of the "Interesting Articles", "Bodywork and Trim", and "Specialist and Tuning" categories. I reckon if even half of us contibuted a DIY article we would have a fantastic resource. Have a look at the excellent article that Syncro wrote on fixing dim headlights, for example. If any of you are worried about your literary skills we have at least 2 teachers (one an English teacher) in our membership who could edit and publish for you.

The 8V undercurrent site has moved to this http://www.oldtimevolkswagenfanciers.com/
This is a much faster server, for those who want a copy of ETKA for their Mk2, it is available for download now.
