Cant speak for headlights, however I just bought some tint film 30% metalised, for the windows - never used it before... I can let you know how I go if you like.

Don't use the tint that autobarn sell, i think its SAAS brand.
i have used the 15% tint on my cabriolet and it faded to 30% or more before i could do all of the windows over a couple of weeks....
plus it's the most difficult tint to apply, very brittle to trim, not very sticky and distorts badly when pushing the bubbles out.
it will make u cry.
Best to buy some off the rolls at glass/tint shops.

you may laugh at this, but.......:nana:

In my younger days...we used ladies stockings (pantyhose) to "tint" the lights. No noticeable loss of light...and a "darker" lens during daylight hours. Gotta be better than tint

haha, thats awesome!

how did they go with fading under the sun?

*point to lights* "chick out my suck new mod....pantyhose bru....cheap is" (sorry about the kiwi accent, everything is funnier with a kiwi accent)

Fun part is getting the stockings off! ;)

Tint I got is 30% metalised, not dye, so should not fade. I got it off a tinter.
