When I picked up our Multivan I think the Bayford sticker was applied about 5 minutes before I asked for a razor to remove it and replace it with a VWWatercooled sticker :P (Mind you I think I gave out a couple of spares to a member who had dropped by knowing I was picking it up too :P).

I still look at *every* VW I see in the hope of seeing a sticker on the back :D

No-one's here to judge. maybe just that by itself, or with the W next to it that has the teardrop under it, or a VW badge...... but I think it has potential in drawing newbies in, doubt many people check the site after seeing the stickers around (as good as they are), but this way people are kind of tricked into actively finding it. Again, just an idea. Might also be useful for spotted cards, so they scan it and it takes them to the spotted section.

It's not silly. They go on the outside. That way they don't screw with your tint or your electric heater in the window.

I've never had a problem, but then I don't tend to use car washes much.

Mind you when I tried to remove one with a high pressure spray it took some coaxing but it did take it off. (with the spray head right up near it).

I've always found vinyl stickers to be very resilient to both automatic and high pressure carwashes.

Hey guys, just wondering how long it usually takes for the sticker to arrive after ordering??

It varies depending on when the order is placed. I usually process all orders on the weekends so it's usually in your mailbox after the following weekend from when you place the order. (Unless I'm away for the weekend to see DOVW or the Snowy Mountains 1000 ... for example).

At the moment I only have one outstanding order for something that was out of stock (one of the large VWWatercooled Stickers in Dark Metallic Grey) and that is now ready to ship as soon as I can get to the post office.

It's been a busy week, but I got a chance to run out a whole sheet full of the small mk7 side window size stickers if anyone else wants to purchase one of the smaller stickers let me know.

No matter how many times I try or what different brand vinyl I try, working with yellow sucks balls. It's just so much more fiddly that any other colour :P

In other news, I've got some new vinyl in stock, new equipment and am starting to re-stock. Red, yellow and white of both Join the Golf Club and the VWWatercooled stickers in 300mm are back up now.

Thanks Aaron for the stickers. I have 3 red cars so was wondering on which car to apply to. I decided on our T4 Trakka that has a solid colour & although not exactly the same red it's very close. The T4 Trakka camper attracts the most interest of our vehicles as these are rare in South Aust.
As someone said on this thread, the advertising through the sticker keeps the Forum alive & growing.
There are many places I could have chosen on the van compared to our cars but decided on the LHS rear where I think it's quite tasteful.
