New wheels :D

Hey guys,

I just put my new rims on today, Audi A8's. They're 19x8.5 and ET35.

Just wanted to see what people think.

I have to agree mate,rs4's suited it better..a8's have been on thousands of mk4's and a3/a4's.... not really suited to mk5 imho.

hehe, I was expecting mixed opinions. When you see them in person, or when the car is driving, you won't say that they dont look good (IMO anyways :P)

I like it I think everyone with RS4 reps needs to take a look and realise the same thing that the rs4 wheels are overdone!

I reckon they looks heaps better than the RS4's!! As much as i love the RS4's, it's the same as putting BBS RS on a mk1, so damn common it's now boring (dom's is an exception, no sick of that yet :cool:). I reckon it really suits your car especially being lowered and with the black bonnet.

Since when have you had the red pinstripes on the bonnet??

Love it..looks fantastic slammed down in the weeds. I'm biased though as have the same wheels on mine but in 18's. They look great on Candy white MK5's.

www.tempetyres.com.au in Sydney has them. They come as a blank chromed plastic center cap and they put a vw decal on them when they fit the wheels. Not sure how much they woud be as mine came with them but can't see it being too expensive.

I reckon they do work on white and silver MkV's, yours looks sweet mate. :biggrin:

My only major problem is how damn heavy they are, doesnt worry me though as I dont need to race people. :) I was too scared to go 19's as i drive on some terrible roads and have hit some bumps that probably would have destroyed 19's no problems.
