Welcome to the forum! Its good that you found it and I hope you enjoy it. There are so many Polo GTI owners on here these days when 5 months ago the majority were MK1 golf owners. :)
You are in Melbourne? We are having a get together on the 25th, saturday evening. See the events section. It would be good to see you there!
Great looking GTI you have there and nice and clean too! Luv the no. plate too!!
Welcome once again. Cheers, Andrew :)

ah, dunno yet, i lke 2 get the susp sorted, just 2 high atm lol. Torque streer is reasonable b/c of the overly assisted P/S, still better than my old MX6 turbo lol. Handling is choppy as expected on a short wheelbase car. Love to get ma hands on the Cup Kit lol. Find some unussual rims to fit lol. Maybe stage III n IC in the future... :???:

Anyway, tyres pressure for d polo, 2,6 n 2,4 bar! isn't it a bit too high???

Nice choice of car GTIJNR, and welcome. I'm relatively new here myself and also with a new GTI (black). Like you I did a search and stumbled on this site and a great one it is, too.

The side wall on the continental tyres is very soft plus you cant buy them in aus yet the contact sports 2 in a 16" 205/45, I am running 34 front and 36 rear seems to be fine but i have already been through a set of conties in 15000k opps lol. Looking at getting some Advan AD07s next off the colt the dealer can get them in about 2 months ment to be real good.

Yeah they are not cheap and dont seem to have the side wall strength, i am sure on a German smooth autobahn but not on tassie bumpy roads.
