Hey all. Not many of you may know, but i got my self a new engine! evorobin's old 8v GTi. Decided it was time to make the move to injected.
So got the engine on wednesday, my 1600 is disconnected, and i have removed all the random unused wiring from the bay, its looking pretty clean! Gonna drop the 1600 out this evening, and beging work on the new engine tomorow.
Will post pics as i go.

Sweet... Good ol fuel injection always good for some probs... I recomend once you got it running spend the time and dollars having her tuned on a dyno... Always good for trusty fuel injection... :)

yes yes! i cant even express how super stoked i am with it! it absolutely honks (in comparison too the old 1600 carb ;)) its a little loud inside (due to a lack of carpet or sound insulation in the rear end) which is kind gnarly, but hey, i am pumped!
