Just saw this in the latest cruise pics, that would have to be close to an insurance right off! it's the sort of thing that worries me with my Cupra.

Yup, you could repair it, but most insurance companies wouldn`t.
That explains the call I got from a young bloke seeking a rear quarter for his cupra.

That's not a rightoff. I had worse when a nice lady backed right into the rear quarter panel of my Corsa GSi.
Assessed and repaired within 10 days.

Hi guys
Thats actually my Cupra :duh:.
I know it looks bad but its mainly just panel damage. There is no chassis damage at all.
It didn't happen on the cruise. Seriously .
It actually happened at Lakeside Raceway up here in Brisbane.
This is what happens when you have the car set up for "dry" grip and you drive it on a track when its drizzling and you have semi slicks on. By the way, there is eff all run off at Lakeside and armco right around the track.
The car is mainly a track car so i'm not too worried.
I'm looking to fix it in due course.

Don't worry, I've have this kinda fear with the audi sometimes. There's bugger all B2 80's in oz, and my car is worth alot less that yours.
Moral of the story, don't stack it! :D
