Hey Geoff,
I mainly did tarmac rallying. A couple of times I took to the dirt, a couple of times unexpected too!!!
If you do a search on "Gunter", there are a thousand pics on here!

Hi
Andrew the second shot looks a bit hairy to say the least. Your cars look good are you still competing ?

No Geoff, I did a few Rally Tasmanias (sealed event) and other road rallies, motorkhanas, hillclimbs, circuit sprints and full circuit racing. I covered over 22000 kms in Gunter, my Mk1 all in competitive stuff and delivering parts from my business. I drove to events 95% of the time and came back 3 times on tow ropes. The "off" in Rally Tasmania still earnt us 8th outright. My log book has a lot of meetings in it!!
I decided to take a break from it all in 2005 and havent taken it back up yet. The bodyshell is getting tired, mine too/!!!
I might build up something in the future...
Cheers, Andrew :)
