I've been fairly inactive but need help. One morning I came back to the car after work and saw the dent. Judging from the dent and the fact it was on the left hand side whilst i was parallel parked, some douche bag has KICKED MY CAR! Or hit it with something big and blunt and pretty hard too. I'm so depressed and that's the end of my rant.
Anyway my quarter panel is going to be needed to get replaced and painted so where in Canberra should I get this done? Any other advice would also be greatly appreciated :) and if not, then just tell me whoever did it is a douche.

Yeah, that's no good a all! Where were you parked so I know to avoid it?

If the paint is not cracked at all, the dent repair guys should be able to pull the dent out for pretty cheap. If the paint is cracked, I've heard great things about Tony Farrugia http://www.tonyfarrugia.com.au/

I was parked on Moore St, thought it'd be safer than mooseheads carpark on a Friday night :(

But the paint has been cracked pretty badly. Looks like they went to town on the one panel, strange I know. But thanks for rec, will look into it after exams :)

Canberra Auto Refinnishers in Belconnen are very good and are the Northside arm of Farrugia.I have had a lot of work done by them and recommend my customers there as well.

Mate I can very highly recommend Auto Body Care in Fyshwick, they've painted and fitted the bodykit to my car and I've been very happy with their work plus they were great people to deal with.

The phone no. is 62808447 and the guy I dealt with was Robert Nunn.

Cheers,

Snowy. :)

+1 for Tony Farrugia - he's the best repairer in the ACT and has the awards and clients to back that up. They mainly deal with premium models (Porsche, MB, BMW, Ferrari etc) but they I've used them in the past to repair damage to a new Beetle Cabrio and as expected the results were nothing less than perfect. Be prepared to wait however - I believe there's sometimes a 6-8 week wait to get your car in.

Terry Pulford in Fyshwick is also highly recommended.

I have followed this advice with my MkV Golf - 3 times :duh: (2 kangaroos, hit from behind by a camry, and hail damage)

Considering the significant amount of damage done each time, I have been happy with the results and will continue to use them in the future (but I will also be very happy to never see the inside of a panel shop ever again :nana: )
