Geez, that really brings a lump to the throat!! I had a silver 16v Corrado that looked so like that one - wish it had been the G60 as I might still have had it but there ya go! :( Still a lovely looking car - have you seen the new pics of the Iroc or the Eos? Still think the Corrado's a better looking car by far.....;)

Hi mate, yeah the first G60's had those Sebring wheels that i expect your 16V had. Corrado's look awesome in Silver.

It did, I always wanted the VR6 type wheels but it did look excellent in silver. To this date my wife still doesn't believe me that when I went to test drive it I didn't know about the spoiler.....<sigh> and this guy was telling me to put my foot down, etc...

I looked in the rear view mirror and thought 'F**k, the bloody boot's opening!?!?' at exactly the same time he explained about the spoiler. That was it from then on in - it was as good as sold!! :D

Come on tell what the current car is. We've all had a bad car at some time in our lives, I even had a 75 Passat once.

I know, it's mad but to date it's been the best car I've owned for handling! :( I had a new Golf Mk4 1.8T after that and although it was a good car you just couldn't chuck it into a corner as quickly. Mind you, I don't think I ever managed to get the back wheel airborne?!?! :D
