Cab roofs

Ok i know it's prolly a question that has been asked berfore but i did a search and could find anything.
What can you use on the roof's to protect them from the elements.
I dont mind spending the time on it if its goin to keep it in good nick.

Is this vinyl or fabric?

I had the vinyl roof & found just keeping it clean was the main thing - wash it weekly.

I also used to mist some Spray & Wipe or Mr Sheen on mine. It wasn't as shiny & naff looking as ArmourAll type products - cheaper too.
When I traded the Cabrio in the dealer commented how good the roof was for a 10 year old car. (Then the detailer stuffed it up by saturating it in ArmourAll - looked like he'd tipped a litre of engine oil on it:brutal:)
