Def single. The twin ones look they were put there aftermarket. It does give more of a rally look though. Still Single FTW

haha funny story about that... i couldn't find the screws to hold the other one in so i just sat it ther...then the wind blew and i was too far away to catch it...and well...its smashed :P

Hmmmmm....Depends what look you're going for. I reckon the twins can look good, and i think the singles remind me more of a mk1...

definitely single headlights. the mk1 has such clean and simple body lines and the twin headlights just ruin that. the singles really show off that awesome clean old skool style. twins should be left for the mk2's, which they actually suit.

Twins are so much better with duckbill and flares!

Plus with living in the outer east, sometimes you need the extra lights on unlit roads :biggrin:

I like single headlight front's.

It make's the car look wider, lower & meaner regardless of the style/bumper setup/chrome etc.

That's why I removed the factory fog's off my GTI.

Just to clear it up. The light's were in fact fog light's, not spot light's from the factory.

I reckon twins for the GTI look. The factory knew what they were doing.

Also if you drive down country roads at night, you are glad of the twins.

I expect that makes me a minority. Oh well, I prefer plastic bumpers too.

I love the singles on all mk1's and i love the little chrome bumpers. So neat!
Prefer singles on mk2 as well, but i wouldnt change the original twin light grille on my GTI for them. Its lust not original thats all.
But man that white mk1 looks tits with singles:biggrin:

Have to say the twins get my vote....although, the singles look nice too if the lines are kept clean. It might have been my imagination, but a couple of the posted pics seemed to remind me of a mini! Might have been the camera angle?:duh:
