Hi all,
I converted my 1977 1600 GLS to an 1800 RV engine last year but kept the standard carb setup, luckily the manifold still fit.
I say lucky because this particular engine has a fuel rail and injectors bolted to the head, i now am at the stage where they are possibly going to get in the way of a new manifold and carb i wish to install.
It is a digifant injection system which was originally on there i believe, and i need to know if it is possible to permanently remove the injectors and somehow cover the holes they were in, but would this have an impact on pressure inside the head?
Does anyone know if it is possible to do this successfully?
If so, please could you provide some advice on what could be done.
Thanks,
Ross
