fuzion

seems to be a lack of organised cruises here (sorry but we know its true lol):eek:

anyhow, as posted on VWVortex by myself we'll be doing a Wisemans Ferry/Wollombi Run.

Details as follows: Sunday 27th of July

Meeting Point: Euro Automotive - 16a Amax Ave, Girraween (Sebs Workshop) at 1130am. If you wish to come earlier feel free as the BBQ might be going for a bite to eat. If your running plate just call and meet near w-ferry turn off no worries.

Driving to Wisemans Ferry across over on the Car Ferry through Wisemans Ferry Rd up to Central Mangrove, where we will go left and head towards Wollombi where we can grab a bite to eat/drinks @ the Pub/Eateries there.

All welcome to come, its always a good drive that with nice twists and some nice straights too. :driver::driver:

It was a great run considering the weather wasn't being favorable towards us. It was a slow start to the day which was a good thing because I was rather hung over but that was quickly solved by a greasy burger at Wisemans. Most memorable moments would have had to have been the caddy creeping its way towards the front of the pack as we wound our way around the hills.

It was great to meet some new peoples and also to catch up with the regulars. Thanks again for a tops day.

Don't worry Mickey, I was there representing the mk3's as well, but I was disappointed there were no other VR's. I thought I might have company, but that idea went in a plume of dirty black smoke. I think I had the largest cylinderage there. :)

What a great day, and even in the wet it was an excellent drive even though I had to part earlier (damn work :duh:). By the way, who was in the caddy, he was demolishing everyone!

I thought I might have company, but that idea went in a plume of dirty black smoke. I think I had the largest cylinderage there. :)

Hey, we were still a mk3 - and if you calculate 1.9L x 1.5bar = 2.85L.... so not so different from yours ;-).

By the way, who was in the caddy, he was demolishing everyone!

Hope to see everyone again real soon...

Mark

Myself, Niel and Chris (in the red diesel caddy) were all chatting outside the lunch shop at wisemans for ages -

maybe we need forum name nametags for these events like at the 'nats?

great day, had fun. Megan, my gf - said this, as we were going up the hill towards central mangrove:

"Man, whats with this speed? I thought we would be going FAST! This is boring."

HAHAHA! I guess you can't please everyone. and no diesel jokes either, I was with you guys all the way :-)
