View Full Version : Polo with angel eyes - anyone done it?

Has anyone fitted 'angel eyes' headlights to their Polo? Just like the look of them and wondering if you had any issues with the headlight tilt, adjusting the beam and overall quality of these aftermarket headlights.

For those that dont know what im talking about refer to photo below. I believe all late model BMW's come with angel eyes standard.

don't do it! ...the aftermarket angel eye headlights are junk, eg leak, poor beams etc.

I wouldn't do it unless Hella make them. Any thing else will be average...

I believe its something more associated with Euro cars than ricers. I would never get chrome tail lights!! I have seen a few Golf's with angel eyes and I also managed to find a pic of a Polo.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I have always liked them.

I dont know who they are made by. It is just a random photo I found.
At this stage I am only asking what experience people have had with them before I bother to do more research into it.

FK make them, I was looking before when I read this thread. go to FK Automotive's site and type 'polo angel eye' in the search and it's the top 2 results.

Each to their own opinion but I personally dont like them. I think it makes the vehicle look too try hard-ish. The halo's off the 9n3 headlights also seem too bright. They'd probably look better as demon day eyes - like the beemers with a more yellow tinge to it.

High beam looks great.

The headlights do too.

I think they look awesome too. They'd be very easy to do provided you buy a set that isn't shockingly cheap. They're pretty much plug-and-play. And no, they're not illegal in NSW.

I havent had a close look at the headlights but would the tilt function still work with angel eyes?

cut the one out of the stocko headlights and just superglue it in there somewhere! j:

IMO, i'd definitely sacrifice the VW logo and yellow beams for a set of angel headlights with bi-xenon projector beams.
