Got stucked in M5 for 3 hrs yesterday....

Found that smoke is coming out from the engine bay...

Seems that the engine bay is too hot, is there any tuner with sloted bonnet or whatever? Or other methord to keep the temp down?

I also looking for quad exhaust, anyone know anyone makes them?

What kind of smoke from the engine bay?

white ones from the slots between the windscreen and bonnet!

Car runs fine, not warning lights...

Smoke? or Steam?

Put any coolant in lately? Maybe you had a coolant overflow that flashed to steam?
Put any oil in lately? Maybe excess oil on something?

I know it wasn't raining yesterday and all, but I know my VR6 can steam off the bonnet when it's raining, maybe someone's washer fluid sprayed onto your bonnet?

I'm really just guessing here. What model is the car anyway?

Ok then...Was there any associated smell?
Any sound?
Anything that will aid in a diagnosis?? The colour of the smoke helps, and the smell too.

burning smell, and clear white smoke (sort of like steam but higher density)...
