Oil filter 125kw tdi

Gday all.
Just checking up for ease of maintenance once the warranty period is up. Does anyone know where the oil filter is located on the Passat 125kw TDI:?: Is it easy to get to, or is it buried somewhere underneath the car. Thanking you in advance. Cheers.

Yeah its well hidden!

Remove the engine cover and you will see a cylinder shaped object between the engine and the radiator. This holds the cartridge type filter. You have to un clip a small electrical component that is positioned above the filter and you will then have access to it. You need a large socket with a swivel attachment to get the lid off. Its pretty easy to do.
