Any ideas about Front End Vibrations on 97 Golf M3 GL 2 Litre 103,000k's.
Had new tyres fitted,on car balance done, rotated wheels, Tyre company did notice slight wobble inside front hub. Vibration is felt through floor at 60 kph & through steering wheel at 100 kph. Front Hubs or Wheel Bearings ? :(

Check that the subframe is done up tight underneath.

Try lifting each front wheel and spinning them and rattle them back and forth. Any play is bearings.

Sounds like tyre balance. Maybe one of the weights has fallen off.

is the golf auto or manual???wheel bearings won't cause a wobble...tyre rim or c/v joint will......on a mk3 auto its common for the rh inner c/v to sh*t itself ,usually at low speed say 15kmph let go of the steering wheel and observe if it has movement back and forth...if so bingo check the cv's cheers steve

Vibration looks like being a bent L/H Drive Shaft. :)
