Hi all - I am fairly new to this comunity and still learning...
I am looking to buy a Forge TIP and a K&N Insert for the standard Polo GTi airbox to compliment the larger Seat intake snout already fitted.
Question - Where can I buy these two items for the best price, and how much is reasonable?

Go through Ian at Rennenhaus (www.rennehaus.com.au) for the Forge TIP, and you can go through Auto Bahn or Repco for the K&N filter. I had to wait to get my filter shipped out from the US to get my K&N, and it cost me about $150(I thought it was a bit rich, but I live in Darwin, so I'm used to it.)

dodgeGTI has a mate in Melbourne that deals in the K&N Inserts - I got mine through him - $115 delivered to my door in Bris. :D
Cheers,

I bought mine from Guy up in Bris.
Cant remember price, but it was good :), shipping was cheap too.
Once i ordered the TIP and Cupra intake snout it took a couple days to arrive, which i thought to be quite fast.

Ian dose the Forge TIP for about $235, plus you may need the 19mm to 25mm adapter for the diverter valve, which is another $15, then $10 to $18 for shipping.

Adapter for the DV?????????? cant say i needed any when i bought a few in. The code is FMINDIBFR4 i think from my emails. Plus clamps from supercheap ive got it in FAQ i think which ones you need. And that price seems fairly good unless you wanna do a group buy with 10+ coming in.

You don't miss much obviously...! :) Where did you see the old air cooled ass drager?
These plates have been on lots of my toys - they are now on my wife's tweaked Polo GTi!

Yes eddy may have been a bit blunt and to the point BUT
4. IMAGES OF NON-WATERCOOLED VWS AND OTHER MAKES. As long as the said vehicles are in context with the thread and include an image of a water cooled VW they will be tolerated. Outside of this the image will be deleted.
To me its a great looking dub but to say its better then any pogo is a matter of personal opinion.

in the right context its a beauty and a marvelous piece of engineering and design. But comparing apples and oranges doesn't get anyone anywhere.
