Almost looks like a NSU! The originator's of the Rotary engine who were brought out by VAG.
Wonder how an engine dipped in chrome would go???

Well spotted it is indeed an NSU Ro 80.
When NSU was bought by VW this car was fitted with a piston engine and called the K70, the first watercooled VW.
Made in Gt Britain
CORGI JUNIORS
WHIZZWHEELS
N.S.U. RO 80
Pat App 3396/69
I think the date is 1969 from the patent number.

I think it must be time to scour through my matchbox collection! who knows what goodies I've got hiding away.
Although, in reality, knowing my luck, it won't be anything special.
How come I've never heard of this NSU before??

You'll have to ask the Mods to set up a RO80/K70 thread!
