Hi Guys

Quick question for all you sound gurus out there :)

How can I find out if my deck has a:

Rear Auxilary In (either RCA or 1.5mm headphone)

Just out of curiosity my deck is a Sony CDX-R6510 X Plode range but I can't seem to find anything on it on the web:?

It pretty much looks like this same colour and everything :?

Help would be very appreciated

Cheers Steve

just grab the model and look up the specs on the manufacturers website. that would probly be easier

From memory I had that same deck in mine when I bought it before I changed it, I think it had one RCA output Steve.

hey steve.
See if you have a button on the HU which you can change channel. Not sure how the sony works but on mine, it is the "SRC" button. It alternates between radio, cd and AUX.

If you can change to an AUX channel you definately have the input.

But easiest way is to pull out the deck if you can to see.

AUX can be built in or on a harness. You wouldn't miss it.

Where about did the deck from?

Easiest way would be to look in the manual. Old sony decks used RCA input on the rear but now they mostly use a jack and mostly on the front, some are still on the rear. I would pull it out, if you still not sure take a piccy and post it up :D
