It's a lot of petrol all the way to woollongong, but liverpool is easy, though sunday is out, but saturday is ok, but don't count me as I'd just shake hands and wave goodbye to you all at liverpoolish methinks..

what if we make it a bit easier to for everyone and make a shorter run, maybe to the Parra raceway or oran park sometimes when something is on, like this weekend there was a drift comp
would be easier to organise and more ppl would go if its shorter distance

In december we had 15 or so, in February, we had 5. I`m sick of organizing stuff and then you people dont confirm or show up.

Give us a meeting spot and a time demo3 and lets make it happen.

What about Krispy Cremes Liverpool?? Is it on the Cumberland Highway? That is accessible from both M4 and M5. And a snack while we wait for the others to meet up. When we agree a location, we will get a photochopped map made up.

If Its a nice day, I`m thinking we goto Wollongong, as it will be sunny by the sea and a nice drive. Also easy to get home for the citybound lot as they can go up through sutherland.

OK. This is the road it is on. Before the Orange Grove Megacentre on Orange Grove Rd heading North (Cumberland Highway) (No 7 Rd that goes between the M4 and the M5)

About the second set of lights after the Hume Highway Turnoff, there is a Mc Donalds, Supercheap Auto and a big carpark by Krispy Kremes.

Rendez Vous there at 11am Sunday 13th August.

We will be cruising down to Wollongong through the National Park and there should be a wide range of roads to drive on and a beach and some beers at the end of it. :)

Yeah. If you drive down the no. 7 rd. (Cumberland Highway) you wont miss it. Especially as you will be there first, so everyone will be looking for a white Mk3 on 17s.

They may close the Cahill Expressway. might be better to go along the M4 and down the 7, rather than through the city and along the m5

Cahill Expressway comes off the bridge.

Tunnel takes you to Eastern Distributor/Southern Cross Drive/M5.

Was driving along quite happily until it started to splutter, pulled over had a look, throttle body/coil looked all black like there had been a fire. Couple of minutes later it started smoking from underneath the coil etc.

lol yeah it was a great cruze, lucky the vr6 is to quick for the radar :D, and the cop had to estimate my speed , so he said 15 over, but the radar had said 134 but it didnt hold for 3 secs, lucky cos before i breaked some ppl may say i was 150+ hahah. im goin to take it to court, and tell the judge that in reality i was goin slow for my vr6 ;), an driving with due care and control and should be let off. and allowed to educate the ppl to the power of the VW hahah

yeah it was pretty damn close , i was quite impressed in my 240,000km unrebuilt VR6, chipped exhaust and filter. running with a 188kw 2.0t :D they are a damn good motor. and i had a passenger to

good work lads sorry i couldnt make it but looks like a fit turn out, my highlight of the weekend was driving apr32's 20vt caddy what a beast

will be at the next hopeully it doesnt take another 6 months to come around

ill be there next time - caught up with Golf loon aka Matt on sat - nice bloke knows his stuff he sold me some nice vr6 seats which im gunna wack in this weekend and write up a "how to" as requested i think it will be good to really get that section moving.

He took me out for a spin in the Seat - dear god i lost my stomach at some points it so quick b e a u tifull any how i got the rears in matt so just gotta do that base swap you were tellin me about and then its mk3 dash convo - need a single light grill if anyone is selling one too haha
