Hi All

Recently my clockspring failed on my 2016 Skoda Superb 162tsi.

I sourced a replacement part 5Q0953569A

I've replaced the part and am trying to add back the long code (6410) via OBDEleven in module 16 but getting a 31 - Function not available error

I'm not sure if the software of the new part is the issue or I'm doing something wrong

Old scan

ODX name: EV_SMLSVALEOMQB

New scan

The new scan shows long coding of 0410 and i can't change to 6410 without the above error. This is the cruise control function via stalk that it is not allowing me to change. Software number is different.

Can anybody help me here?

Are the part numbers on the units the same? 3Q0953521, without the letters at the end, does not look to support cruise control.

Did you get the clockspring by itself or with the stalks?

Hi.

I bought the part by itself. I was only going by part number and that was a match. No places actually quite the software but yes that software number coincides with a stalk that doesn't have cruise control. Not sure if there is any way to upgrade the software. Part wasn't cheap either so don't want to buy another in the hope the software is ok
