The surprise is the location and the venue we will be eating at. All spots been top notch (no air pun intended) to date. We will be meeting at the "Mures" carpark at constitution dock for a 9am departure. The route and location is a mystery only known by myself. All been good days in the past, we be finished by about 11am, so it wont take up all of your day. Quick quiz and prizes for the "know it all" of the day. Come along and have some fun.

So is anyone on this forum getting ready for this Sundays breakie run. I hope there is going to be a couple more watercoolers this time. They were lacking a bit on the pizza run, only two Golfs, maybe the interest is down at the moment? I like good heaters at this time of the year!! (getting older too!!!)

See water or sea water is good for washing cars? Might do a comparison on the GTI mate.
Anyway, we all had a common interest today, VWs of all shapes and sizes, oh, and breakfast too!:)

Fresh is good for removing the salt variety!
The golf needs no encouragement to rust. Needs some more paint in a few places!

Yeh it was a top day, makes organising events a pleasure when they turn out like that one. Im glad the quiz wasnt to easy for you mk5gti, i thought you might have been the only type 86 man out there. Good to catch up, next event baskerville day in a month or so time, bet the boys will be looking forward to that, come along and support the day.

Umm. I think the Baskerville day might have been altered. Think that the motorkhana is on that day so people can get the gist of what to do for when the Bug In is on next easter. I will double check that. And yes H2hoo! that one question had me on the day! The prize tape measure ect. went begging, might have looked a bit out of place with the Snap Ons!!
Was good to see Paul out in the "new/old Mk1 on the day.
Thanks Golfman too, we had a good variety of models there. :)
