Yep 22.6 installed in the KAMIQ this morning Left car running for 30 mins and on restarting its there

Just downloaded and updated the Discover Pro in my MY19 R wagon.
Took about 30mins.
Need 7-zip to decompress, which I did to a bigger USB thumbdrive (>30GB) to have room.
That took about 20 mins.

Took 3 tries with the USB, so here's the combo that worked:
*reformat to NTFS
*take MIB1 and MIB2 folders as well as the metainfo2.txt file out of the root folder it is decompressed to on the USB (mine was called P313_N60S5MIBH3_ROW.7z) so the car system can see what it wants.

Plug car into trickle charger as you must leave the ignition on for about 20 mins to do the update.
Then check your state/location and date/time settings on the head unit are all correct after. They were fine.

If there anyway way to tell when it complete? Yes as you should check your map version before you do it so you know its upgraded . Its on the system page in the MMI and instructions for getting there are in the manual

Going in for a vehicle service tomorrow and they have the online pre check in service.
Update maps in the sat nav...$65. :shock:
Would be interesting to see if they have a newer version than what is posted above.

Wow, I am still shocked that they are charging $65 to place an USB stick into your vehicle AND people pay that.

Installed yesterday from root directory of my music stick 24.6 So going by prev info and iterations it is a map from June 2024 As per whats described on VWVORTEX
