Simple T4 Transporter question.

So I have a 1999 SWB, T4 Transporter, 2.4D and I am struggling to find the actual engine code. I don't have the original bookwork for the van so I will need to locate it on the van itself. For the life of me, I have searched the engine, engine bay, tried a google search on where to look and all I get is the different codes. I KNOW THERE ARE BLOODY DIFFERENT CODES! I just need to locate mine so I can order the correct parts. If some one can point me in the right direction I would be extremely grateful.

It's the first three letters of the engine number. So that maybe on the registration papers.

Failing that, you'll have to find where it's stamped on the block.

I suspect it will be an AJA engine.

LEGEND! You are correct. Just spent another 1/2 hour with torch, mirror and phone camera with no luck. Rego Paper on the office desk and BINGO!
