Hi,
Is it possible to disable the open boot button on the keys using OBDeleven? I’ve had it accidentally open a few times.
I’ve seen some information for Audi but I couldn’t find much for VW.
Thanks :)

Never heard of it being done and dont know of anything in OBDEleven that will. Maybe this cover will prevent it as its a little less sensitive than the actual button. It also stops the button that opens the key from working unless fully pressed. I havent had either pocket work since I have used it

You can disable it on the Golf 7 so "may" work with a Tiguan.
09-Cent. Elec
Adaptation
Access control - Direkter Auswurf des Heckdeckels
Should read "Active" change to "not active"
You may need to first enter a security code for this to work in 09-Cent. Elec.

Thats a not a bad solution, will have a look around for one. The key flipping out can be annoying too so two birds one stone.
Cheers mate.

I disabled it by doing this with ODIS. Sure will it work with VCDS
Adaption
09 Central Elec.->[VO]_ZV Heck->Direkter Auswurf des Heckdeckels.
Change value from "active" to "not active" then confirm.
Needs to have security code. I found that on Ross-tech website.
This made it so i cannot open with fob, but i can close with fob.
I revived this thread and registered a new account just for this comment for fellow VW heads. Have a Good Day
