Hey, sorry this has probably been asked before:

1. Does the standard jack still work once you start fitting larger tyres? Once you add a suspension lift?
2. What do you take offroad as a jack for your T5?

Thanks

Pity there's no replies, I'm interested in this query as well....

Hi Sam,

I use a Omega BST2000 bottle jack, one of the lads on here got one with his Trakka, as the 3200kg GVM doesn't come with a jack.

there is a thread on here that led me to getting one.

I haven't had to use it out on the road, but i've used it to jack up the van when fitting the diesel heater and it worked fine (only used the jack to fit jack stands around the van)

Hey many thanks for pointing to that thread. Wondering where you got it from, and if it will jack your van when you have a completely flat tyre?

I ordered mine from Blackwoods, i can't recall how much i paid.

I'll measure the jack height today against the tire and the lifting point, and the height of the sidewall to confirm.

I bought this kit with a few extras to create a safe jacking and working platform for my raised van.

Safe Jack Bottle Jack Recovery Kit (https://www.proquip.com.au/safe-jack/safe-jack-bottle-jack-recovery-kit/)

Not cheap but solved the issue.
