Hi, new to forum and asking advice on replacing my Continental VancoContacts 205-65-16 c (107) after 75000 k's. Unfortunately the Conties are not being made in the 107/105 load rating anymore, as they have been great. Has anyone used Hankooks RA14 and Yokohama RY818? If so, what are your opinions of them ,and which would be better on some unmade roads? The Conties were great on and off bitumen. Thanks very much for the Forum, Cheers:)

Hi T5petrol,
I have 17" wheels and replaced original Michelin tyres with Hankook RA23 and didn't noticed any changes to handling, braking or fuel economy. At half the cost of Michelins. Now done 15,000km and I can't see any wearing on them yet. Original Michelins were down to 1mm at 25,000km.

If you're after tyre which would last check out Pirelli tyres as well, but be aware that they could be noisy.

Thanks MRL T5, still not sure between Hankooks or Yokohamas. Unfortunately , Pirellis don't make my size. Iwill have to make a decision soon . Regards T5petrol :?
