Guys,

Im interested to know what offsets are needed for mk4 golfs, that plan to run 8inch plus rims. Is it low or high?

Factory are mid 30s?

Any help is appreicated! Thanks

How wide are your rims?

Would a 9 inch sit too far in with +40?

8.5" front +30?

Or would 8" +15 front and 9" +25 rear be better?

Thanks

Depends on how you feel about a little poke ;)

This is a 9" with et18...

This is about where mine will be sitting with a 10" wheel that is currently et52 with a 20mm adaptor (final et32)

On the front with the 8.5 you would want a final of et30.

Those offsets look awsome! Im usure if redrill or adapters is the best bet. If i do some swapping around i can get a 8.5 et 30 and 9x 40 so with a 10mm spacer the 9 should sit on the guard but not poke. Whats the space like under the guards?

Thanks and looking foward to seeing yours done!

What diameter are the wheels? Are you looking to run a bit of stretch on the tyres? The worst is usualy the front if you have coilovers - you can get a bit of rubbing there hence 30 is about the minimum to clear them. The rears you should be fine with that, you might get a bit of rub on the outside under load.

Just went to them last week to enquire about something, they didn't have the best reception :( Though I know they're quite renown for wheel-related custom jobs.

Let me know how things go with them :)
