Hello,
New to the Watercooled forum, was a member of Aircooled for a while. Owner of a 2012 Mk6 R and purchased one of the 5N TDI Tiguans earlier this year that had been sitting on the docks due to the emissions cases.
Previously owned of 2005 Mk5 GTI and a 2008 Tiguan TDI and at least 3 Aircooled Beetles.
Looking to get some help with the Mk6 and fitting of a Discover Media system to replace the RNS510.
Cheers
Andrew

Welcome!!!
Make sure you replace the high pressure fuel pump cam follower at regular intervals as a preventative measure on the Mk6 R.
Nice pick-up on the Tig. I'm sure you got a good deal on this one as they were a year old before they even hit the dealers.
One thing I'd do on this is to get it reflashed back to pre-dieselgate file if you can (you'll have to get a tuner to do it). Or get an aftermarket tune. It really wakes these up. The post-dieselgate tune on the diesels seems to have taken out a lot of the low-end torque (which is what you buy a diesel for).
That's the reason i never had my Tiguan Software changed too many complaints ,
