Dry clutch man.

Will be slippery some day and you can swap the clutch pads under warranty.

S'what I thought. Do you'd be better off with a 140TDI and the 6 spd yes?

The dry clutch is not bad. It has better efficiency. Just easy to break.

If you prefer a life time car, go for a 8 speed torque converter transmission.

206 and TDI are good option too but they are also DSGs.

Porsche’s DSG is the best but most expensive.

How long is the warranty on clutch pads? My car warranty ends next March, I am wondering if I should invest on extended warranty since mine is dry clutch.

Well,. you won't have the same warranty as you bought it when you purchased your car.

The warranty will be done by the insurance company not VW.

The clutch pad has the same period warranty as your car.

Better starting to find a reliable mechanic rather than an extended warranty, my 2 cents
