Lower timing chain cover price? GTI

Anyone have a rough idea of the price of Lower Timing chain cover for a MK6 GTI?

I know they are expensive but are there any other options except the dealer?

No other options that I'm aware of.

Unless you order overseas, and get gouged on the shipping.

I had to replace mine when i had my timing chain tensioner and guides done on my Mk6 GTI a few years back. Doubt you will find any aftermarket brands - i dare say it will be genuine only.
