Looking at a camping vehicle so trying to research the Amarok. Having trouble getting onto the Ausamarok forum for nearly a week. Anyone know what the go there is? I know they’ve had issues with hackers in the past.

This says it all .... 2018 Volkswagen Amarok TDI 550 Sportline review: Wheels Ute Megatest Winner (https://www.whichcar.com.au/reviews/2018-volkswagen-amarok-tdi-550-review-ute-megatest-winner)

Wheels Magazine tested 8 top Dual Cab Utes, Amarok came out on top. Also, if you like driving and a bit of go (which owning a R you must) then there can only be 1 .....

V6 TDI very quick for a full size dual cab (0-100 in 7.9s) though not quite as quick a lightly tuned TSI (0-100 in 6.7s). The new Ultimate TDI580 coming out later this year (Volkswagen Amarok V6 power boost trumps X-Class (https://www.whichcar.com.au/news/volkswagen-amarok-v6-power-boost-trumps-x-class)) will have even more power and also address some of the safety concerns (rear airbags) that currently exists on the Amarok range.

BTW, Ausamarok have had issues for years and have become unreliable lately.

Nope - new Amarok will still miss out on rear airbags!

According to the owner it’s to do with the changeover to a new hosting site. Testing issues.

Hi, I've been an active member on the Ausamarok Forums as well and have not been able to get on there now for at least 4 weeks- any
news at your end?
