As the title said, I am trying to find a shop which sells the following wheels. I have a few that I want to look at physically in real life before committing myself into buying... But so far, I have contacted my local stores, but none of them stock these. So, I was wondering whether anyone would know where I can see some.

This is the look i am after.....http://aycu05.webshots.com/image/40044/2000039956822778009_rs.jpg

1. Lenso Tenzo mach-10 with black and red lips

http://www.nlmotoring.com/images/Tenzo_Mach-10_Blackw_RedLip.jpg

or

2. Somthing similar to this with black and red lips. I know below will not fit my car, but I can't seem to find similar wheels in that colour combination.

For number 1 wheel, i am seriously thinking about importing from the state if i can't find any here... But still, doesn't help in letting me look at it to see whether it'll suit the car....

Thanks in advance....

Oh god thats a hot Borlf!

Umm... find similar rims and paint them black with that nice little red ring around it? :?

I'm sorry I'm being completely useless as usual  Keep and eye out for a nice set of wheels that you look similar and get em' painted.

Thanks Houso, That's not useless, I kinda forgot about that painting options. But how much would such a job cost?

do it yourself its easy as and the red rim-job is easy too, if you take it to a tyre place they'll charge 150 per wheel... ouch.

this guy pretty much sums it up http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=194291 but you'll want to take off the tyres first to avoid peeling and/or cracking down the track. remember, lots of mist-thin coats is better than a couple thick ones. oh and as usual, the prep is the most important bit. the first pic looks like it has some sort of bbs mesh style wheels on it which is my fav style :) it'll look horny on a polo.

The second set of wheels are either Bee-R rims or a very popular copy called Drift Teks. They only come in 4/5x114.3 but with some adapters it wouldn't be a problem! They look tuff on the right car :D

You can get rims powercoated for about $25 a corner, plus a bit extra if they require sand blasting.

Yeah mate, it may be hard to find the EXACT wheels, but you can definitely find some in the design you want, have them powdercoated black, then do the pinstriping around the rim of the wheel yourself. Taking the wheels to a dedicated powdercoater rather than to a wheel specialist should save you quite a bit (Maris did the same with his steel wheels, and I remembered he got them powdercoated for very cheap). Oh, and give WABIT a PM, he has done pinstriping on his wheels before.

Oh, and Tempe Tyres are a distributor for Lenso wheels aren't they? Maybe give them a go, and see if they would be willing to bring those wheels down for you.

thanks lorenz....the one picture in the op is from rota. only makes 18". its good to know that koya makes some 17". but in only 8" wide :s.. and in the wrong stud pattern...

any other company that does them in 5x100 that looks the same? that one actually really have grown onto me...

edit:

Well your better off getting slightly curbed wheels dirt cheap, sanding them back and using some spot putty on the over inflicted areas, then paying the 60 or so bucks on each rim to get it painted. All up maybe 260, not bad if you pick the set up for peanuts, and its the ones you want.

OR

Alternatively use cans of grey primer, paint and clear coat, which will need to polished in the end.

By far the cheapest and most rewarding, at 90 bucks or so :D

Second rims are close to Drift Teks, but they are actually
Rota P45R (http://http://www.rotawheels.com/p45r.php)
They were organising a group buy a while ago , but that didn't eventuate, not enough interest.

I say get some good quality rims, Rota dont have the greatest reputation.

No, sorry man, I was just looking at some page about wheels, I think an American page, and this came up when discussing tyres prices and buying wheels that are cheap to start with, and ending up behind in the end due to lacklustre quality.

Looks nasty, but in reality, the rims would have had to have been stressed out to the max. Wouldnt think this is a regular occurence by any means.

Look at the amount of weight there is on that wheel to balance it.....

Dodgy!

This is to be expected from a company that only really makes copies of other companies wheels.

Yes I noticed that as well, and its on a number of points, let alone the surface you can't actually see in the pic!

I reckon he hit something hard at speed and the whole rim shat itself, but dam is that nasty!

Tempe might be able to sort the Lensos out for you.

But don't get tyres or fit the wheels there - They are known to be dodgy as.
