Does anyone have more information on standard spec and option packs please? I've read the linked articles, thanks.

I don't think full specs on the Sportline will be available until closer to the date. It seems there's just some teaser info gone out to a few media outlets to generate interst.

I think it is going to miss out on headlights from the highline

Missing latest infotainment, highline style front LEDs and leather. I guess worth $2,500. Plus DAP still extra. Though it has some basic r line features but not the body kit.
Confusing. I think the adventure model is better value. Or just jump to highline.

I think the new Sportline model is in line with VW bringing out an entry-level GTI and R with cloth seats.

However what hasn't been confirmed is if it will come with a flat bottom steering wheel with DSG shift paddles. That would actually make some sense if you're going to combine it with adaptive dampers and market it as a "sports" model.

Will have to wait and see what the full details on the specs are.

Looks like a great option and a strong edition to the line up. 20inch rims alone will make it look so much better. R-line kit doesn't suit my needs as a regular country/gravel road driver.
Adaptive chasis control (part of R-line kit), ACC, Side Assist, TJA (part of DAP) as standard inclusions.
Updated infotainment Discover Media 8 inch, ErgoActive drivers seat and LED headlights (from Adventure model)
