Hey hawk, just a test as requested mate.

Here is a link to the photo Shared album - Google user - Google Photos (https://goo.gl/photos/yaXRxa9J7uNWUEoMA)

This happens with tinypic, google photos and flickr. Never had these issues prior :(

Ahhh Google photos. as far as I know you can't hot link to google photos at all. The funky script will attempt to copy the image but will fail simply because it doesn't work.

(NOTE: I have manually fixed the one above)

Have you ever seen google photo links work on other forums?

TBH now that you mention it I cant say I have seen others using it.

I'll try upload with a few others to try it out.

Ctrlq works, but it always cuts the image

Sadly, neither of those two work. Try using the vwwatercooled one instead:

Can I hotlink images to another website? Can I link an image on Shutterfly to another website?
Unfortunately Shutterfly does not currently offer a way for customers to link images from their Shutterfly account to another website (like eBay, match.com, blackplanet).

Per our terms and conditions, Shutterfly does not allow customers to "hotlink" images from Shutterfly to a third party website. Due to an increasing number of people doing this, we had to disable this ability on our site. Please note that the images are still in your Shutterfly account, however the external links to images are no longer valid.

Flickr is much the same:

You cannot use Flickr to host pictures for an external website unless you link each image used back to its Flickr photopage.
