After the last post I thought it might be good to get an idea of just what everyone is running, coilovers, pollybuses etc
So though id start:

My plan
solid adj strut tops
polly bushes throughout
Koni or Kw coilovers
25mm front arb
28mm rear arb
Planing for track days, fast road etc....

ok I know this my plan a nd not my car at the mo, but its the sort of list im looking for!

My setup is:

-KW Front Anti-Sway bar.
-KW coilovers (V1's).
-Neuspeed adjustable rear anti-sway bar.

No complaints at all with this setup, the car is on rails and everyone who rides in the car comments on the surprising ride comfort.

Mines moderate I guess but it does the trick for me anyway:

-KW V2s
-New strut top mounts
-Neuspeed Front Strut brace
-Rear strut brace

Also looking at picking up a rear sway bar as whoever I have talked to I have heard that the rear sway bar is one of the best suspension/handling mods you can do.

1998 Golf GL 2.slow

Eibach pro spring kit on standard shocks, 38mm drop all round.

Sits flat on the road i.e dual lane roundabouts at well over the speed limit and in the lines, and works well with my nice silverstone 205/45/16W tires.
I'm happy :)

Cut springs! :( That hurts.

Just recently installed:

K-Sports fully adjustable Coilovers all round
Back dropped as low as it will go
Front to match

Up next: Rear sway bar

Awsome ride and the handling is mental!

Polo GTI: Bilstein PSS9's - + 30lb of extra spring rate - rest is stock

Golf GTI MKV - Sach's racing 20 way adjustable coilovers - rest is standard

Audi TT - Ohlins motorsport suspension, 380 lb springs, custom camber plates (capable of 5 deg neg camber) - stock swaybars, H&R adjustable rear control arms.

Porsche Cayman S: Sach's Racing Coilovers, Mantis Sport Camber plates, 997 GT3 front bar, Tarret adjustable rear sway bar, tarret sway bar links.

All of them corner pretty well :)

How much did that cost you and where did you get it from? Sounds like sorta suspension i need for my driving :)

I'm looking at getting some H&R race springs from the US.... i think it'll cost about $260 american though (2" drop at front, 1.75 rear)... and KYB shocks - not expensive.

Edit: after reading other forums, and i think eibach springs are over $500 a set.... I think i'ma go with KYB shocks and Whiteline springs. Sounds like they're about 40mm lower, and eliminate "floating" feeling when driving and body roll :D can't wait...
