RCD330 Plus carplay

Has anyone looked at getting one of these as an upgrade to a Golf VI? Looks to be a cheap option to add carplay/android auto to replace aging RNS510 ?

Is it a straight plug and play?
Would it be compatible with RVC?

Yeah I was hoping someone on here had tried and could give real world feedback.

I've been reading all these threads pretty closely lately. I love the idea of Carplay (since we are an iPhone family) but also love the idea of an Android based system because of Torque Pro :D

Problem is both cars already have Nav, RVC and Bluetooth so there isn't much I would gain. I'm still very interested in following the options though.
