Hey guys

Does anybody have experience replacing the n80 evap purge valve in the 2.0tsi seems like it may require removing the intake manifold as opposed to the tfsi engine where you wouldn't have to.

Here is the fault code that led me to believe my valve is the issue however I have no CEL yet , just came accross it in a obdeleven scan

01 Engine Control Module 1

*** System description: MED17.5.2******* 04
*** Software version: 8630
*** Hardware number: 06J906027H
*** Long coding: 0403000C1C070160

*** Trouble codes:*
******* P0441 - EVAP Emission Contr.Sys.Incorrect Purge Flow
*********** Intermittent
*************** Measurements:*
851 U/min
30 %
0 km/h
97 °C
*************** Frequency counter:* 2
*************** Mileage: 44988 km
*************** Priority:* 0
*************** Driving cycle: 255

Any advice would be great , looking at the part seems a fixed pipe goes under the manifold which would point to having to remove it however Id really want to avoid that.

Yes, you need to remove the manifold to replace it as it is screwed into the manifold underneath and you're unable to remove it any other way unfortunately.
