2015 tdi400. When the aircon isn't on and just straight air is coming out during the first few mins of running there's a noticeable odor coming out.

Has anyone had this? Where are the cabin filters?

Repco and Autobarn sell an aircon sanitiser that works very well - use it after replacing the cabin filter

Open the bonnet look along the plastic part at the bottom of the windscreen lots of slotted holes to allow the air to get through , you may also note that this same area also allows water to drain out of the Blenheim chamber so it is important to remove and clear the leaves and debris in there . On the passengers side there is a square hole with a honeycomb grill over the opening its is on the vertical part of the internal firewall , this is the intake to the inside of the van which then leads to the filter and out the vents inside .

Thanks, turned out there was a dead lizard at the cabin filter!

Fokatane

Its one of my favourite little towns, still that bar can turn nasty if the weather turns.

Whitianga is pronounced with a F instead of the W as well, Fityianga is another get little seaside town, it was just over the hill from our place in Coromandel.

Most of the older generation that i have met over there still pronounce it the english way, my grandparents haven't moved with the times either.
