Hi all, as a prospective purchaser of either a Passat 206TSI wagon or a Tiguan 162 TSI highline with DAP & R-line I am keen to read as much as possible in my research. To that end I have found that the UK Division of VW have an on-line access for lost Owners manuals.

The link is: Owners manuals : Volkswagen UK (http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/manuals)

All you need is a valid UK registration number. I searched the on-line adds in UK and found this licence number

LS66YJL

It belongs to a TIGUAN R LINE TSI BMT 4MOTION (the closest I could find with short notice.)

I have converted the on-line version to a PDF (7Mb and 437 pages) Unfortunately, this forum does not allow PDFs as an attachment. Also I have converted each page to JPG and if the moderators allow it and others wish it, I can upload these. Just give me some time.

I would be very interested in obtaining a link to the Australian version of the Tiguan 140 Highline with DAP & R-line.

I hope this is of assistance?

Regards,
David

Hi David, would you be willing to email me a copy of your manual? Or could you upload it somewhere please?
cheers

If you want to email it through I can put it in my Dropbox or OneDrive account and share access to it for everyone.

Just seeing what can be done with the forum admins. Initially I'd suggest loading the .pdf to a 3rd party file sharing site and posting the link here.

That's going to be a lot easier than creating .jpegs of each page. Also .pdf docs are searchable which you'd lose if you turned them to images.

Hi all,

I have loaded the PDF to my Google drive into a folder called Tiguan (what else :))

The link is below:

If I have overstepped my bounds, it is done in ignorance and am happy to take it down.

If all is well, then please enjoy, I only ask for a simple thanks on this thread to get an idea of the interest.

Best wishes,
David

Hi all,
a little follow up.

The Web version has hyperlinks and therefore is easier to navigate. This pdf does not and is a very poor alternative. But better than nothing.

Apologies. I did not set the sharing correctly.

I hope it is fixed now. If not please let me know and I will try again.

Do we actually get a hard copy of the manual when we collect our cars??

Ha.ha. yes to both. You do get a paper owner's Guide and yes we all would like it with embedded with videos showing how it is done. MB has a very good interactive on line Owner's Guide.

Hi All,

I subscribed (paid real $$) to erwin.volkswagen.de and downloaded all the workshop manuals relating to Tiguans I could find.

The Google drive link has the following manuals for general usage. (To the forum controllers - If I am contravening any regulations, I apologise and simply remove this post.)

If not, then use wisely. I cannot be held accountable for any errors in these documents.

Tiguan Owners manual - Google Drive (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B5hT9R4nG0yiNW42OWJkUVFRckk)

The image below shows a list of the new files in this folder.

Many thanks for this David, I really appreciate learning more about the Tiguan and am grateful to you for finding this resource and spending your hard-earned. Is your subscription still active? If so, I've found a couple of references in some of the Tiguan manuals to further details in other manuals such as your #552 on page 42 says further info on park assist is available in #543 "The Passat 2015 - Driver Assist Systems". And more info on the Active Info Display in #545 "The Passat 2015 - Electrical System".

If the forum can provide a comprehensive list I can re-activate my subscription and try to suck as much as possible.
