Lost in engine

Hello I have a squealing belt on acceleration when engine cold need to know how to adjust & check.Have been told alternator, air, power steering are gear driven is this correct on 2.5 litre 2006 model I'm thinking water pump belt anymore. lnfo please

I think you will find on the 2.5 like our old T5 the camshaft is gear driven , the other components are more likely to be via belt .
