The Unlock function of the Lock/Unlock rocker button on the T5 drivers door sill is not working. The lock function works fine. I can hear the unlock microswitch click but nothing happens.
Is this likely to be a localised problem or something deeper?
Also can the lock and window control button unit be removed from the door sill without taking the door panel off?

There are a few threads here about locks, this link has some info -

Those switches do die. Especially if there's been any water ingress, causing corrosion on the contacts.

You'll need to remove the door trim to be able to pop the switch housing out.

Can't you just lever the top panel off?

I believe it's retained from the underside by fragile plastic tabs.

Ok, thanks, I'll try to *gently* pry the button panel off and check the connections etc.
