The other day I was asked to activate the DRL switch in the MFD and the coming home function in the #09 BCM module in a 2015 Amarok. I went into the long coding and changed the various bytes and bits but when it came to saving it. It rejected the new coding saying it was out of range anybody encountered this?

Are you using non-zero values for workshop code and importer? Vcds up to date?

I'll have a look. I have DRL and Coming home active in mine. Its MY14 Amarok, but that should still be OK.

Yes using default 0 values was thinking of configuring VCDS before hand to use the Amarok factory values which VCDS gave me the option of using instead of 12345 123 etc.
I was using the latest version of VCDS as I just bought a 10 inch Toshiba tablet off eBay for $200 and was testing this as my laptop battery has given up the ghost. I was able to successfully recode his RCD 510 radio to use the RVC he had just installed. Will post the details of his BCM module later as I am using my iPad at the moment

Some modules will reject coding if you are using just zeroes for WSC. 12345 123 is fine for them.

J you may be right as the importer code is 000. I have also noticed these factory values differ from earlier Amaroks that I have scanned previously.
