Hello

it has come time to change the thermostat in my wagon as it keeps throwing fault codes. but for the love of it cant find anything on the location or method to changing this over.

if anyone could shed some light on this it would be awesome.

Hi,

I can't promise this is correct, but it should point you in the right direction. In this diagram, the coolant regulator or thermostat (14) fits into the thermostat housing (10). It looks like the part number might be 03H121113.

I bet it will be a fun job involving lots of stripping down!

I just had the thermostat replaced in my 125 diesel and the thermostat housing is all in one piece, so I would expect you would need part numbers 10-17 inclusive. I hope you have more room to do it as they had to take the oil filter housing and cooler off and remove alternator just to be able to get it out.
Best of luck.
